I heard that third party testing at some of these big companies is a lot easier than having to go to the DMV and do it. I don't know if that is true or not, so out of curiosity I'd like to hear some stories on the worst drivers you have saw pass a third party test. I even heard a story once about a third party instructor letting someone do a pre trip test with a notebook and diagram. I also heard another story (CRST) I think it was that would pass you on the road test no matter what. I am just wondering if this is true or not and I suspect it is because I used to work at a rest area in Louisiana and the amount of foreign driver's that came up to me and asked me to read them directions someone had wrote for them was atleast 3 or 4 a week. I am just wondering and have always been curious about this. I have also wondered that when some of the foreigners come over here if an 18 wheeler is the first thing they've ever drove, I mean do they learn to drive an 18 wheeler before even driving a car? I don't know it just fascinated me when I worked there.

Also curious to hear some of these stories. However it was your username that made me lol and reply.
Good one -
Doesn't matter as long as you pass. The real learning comes from actual OTR driving.
It's better to use the testing facility the CDL school uses because they're used to working with each other.
Otherwise, you can end up with some tester that's a 3rd grade dropout and on a power trip and his wife makes him grovel and fawn when he goes home. -
I'd say by your 3rd party you'd definitely be too intoxicated to drive. Ha. Good luck on your test driver
