    2 new hires would have to marry each other to bring in that type of money.

    So far, most savings from driver cuts are going to management bonuses....and still the Walmart.com is not being supported enough to compete with Amazon.

    What driver cuts?

    My pay has gone up (anniversary raise) not down. And with peak extensions are adding even more. Not real sure what everyone keeps saying they have lost.

    That "big money" comes with a substantial price tag.

    Wal-Mart seems so unorganized whenever I run dedicated for them. I get paid a flat rate, that rate depends on the dc I'm running out of. Have seen offers as low as $650 per day and in CA i was getting $1100 per day plus fsc. Many days I would run less than 250 miles. Spend 8 hours in the lounge watching tv or reading. Seems for that kind of rate they would really want to run me.

    You're not seeing things, it's the most unorganized company out there with too many managers who don't have a clue what they're doing and even think about blowing money like that. We've had many dedicated sit for 880 a day just to be told to go home.

    250 miles or less a day sounds right on for California dc. But as an av driver , i would be celebrating 400 dollars a day;
    I thought my safety manager was joking when he said youll get 1200 miles a week here ,
    He was definently being honest
