This Is An Old But Teachable Clip, Nonetheless

How many morons can you count in this clip? I count 4.

 

I didn't see anybody back off. I get it that dash video can distort apparent distance and maybe the dash-cam vehicle was further back then it seemed in the video. And granted the dash-cam vehicle did avoid the crash, I still feel he was following those two way too close.

If I was the one with the dash cam, I'd have fallen Waaaaay back and gotten in far behind the conestoga wagon until the situation cleared up. It was obvious to me this situation was very likely to result in a crash given there were 2 road-rage idiots. and 1 enabler idiot (trucker) all in the same space. All three of them got exactly what they deserved for being either road-rage prone, a stupid smart-###, or a stupid smart-### enabler.

 

I don't even recall seeing a tanker but as far as I'm concerned there is only 4 vehicles involved. the car with the dash-cam, the Camero in a hurry, the pickup, and the conestoga wagon. Looks to me like the conestoga wagon could have slowed to whatever he had to to force the pickup to go on around and stop playing a dangerous game with an idiot right next to him, and move over.
