Grossing 77,220. 7th gear, Volvo Engine Brake on the Auto setting. Didn't have to touch my service brakes once.

Yeah I know the Check Engine Light is on, it's a Volvo, when is it NOT on. :p

What no 4 ways on. What was the outside temp? +95F. Was your pyro below 900? Manifold pressure?

    4 ways were on.

    Outside temp was about 88.

    Pyro was under 500.

    Boost gage showed about 28psi.

I like the signs, probably 30-years-old or more, telling you how fast you can, cannot go, based on weight. By the way, my Acapulco Grill in Prairie du Chien has the Modelo Victoria. Very smooth, especially the first swig, but I like the Dos Equis Amber (ambar) better. More bite.

Ever stop in Pendelton Underground Bar or the tour.
Give us a tap on the horn if you roll through Redmond.
    Run it cool.

The way I go down Cabbage is to drop a gear and turn the jake on max. If the jake ever fails then I will apply the service brake to drop as many gears as necessary to not need the service brake anymore. If lightning strikes twice and the service brake fails before I can do that, I will attempt to apply the parking brakes to stop and park on the shoulder. If all three of these braking methods fail, after a quick glance up at the sky to make sure an asteroid isn't about to fall on me (wouldn't want to miss that), then plan D kicks in and I will attempt to make it to a runaway ramp before tipping over.

I go down a mountain like I did at Stevens when they didn't have engine brakes. So if the VEB goes out, I can still maintain control.
