Hi Ms. Green. I wanted to take some time, now that I have a spare moment to thank you for your interest in me as a driver. Just wanted to let you know that I've got a good fit for company now. I work for a small outfit 2 miles from where I live. I'm getting great miles, great treatment, decent benefits and decent pay. I see the west coast all the time, and I see my home a lot. I typically turn Lacrosse, Wi to the west coast and back in 6-7 days, and then spend 3-4 days at home, wash, rinse, repeat. So, to be honest, the only reason I'd walk away from this deal is to drive for Wal-Mart. I put my application in there 2 days ago. After all the times I've been hosed by large companies with promises of "stability", I've come to the conclusion that stability translates to rotten paychecks, expensive benefits that don't cover anything, waffling and excuses for the lack of miles and home time, and poor general treatment. While I'm not saying that Gordon treats their drivers in these ways, I'm sure you'll understand why I'm skeptical and loath to walk away from a sure thing for a roll of the dice... Again, thank you for your interest.
This is in response to a recruiter's email.

Not too shabby. Only thing I'd have done different; I would have built paragraphs to create spaces, and made it easier to read.
