Only if you are from NY. If you aren't based in NY, you don't need them in NYC.

    Ruthless and JPenn Thank this.

I drove a truck with hood mirrors and I thought they were great. Hey, she wants hood mirrors, let her get hood mirrors.

I confess, I thought it was a Volvo at first glance. Nothing beats the feeling of being self-employed. Happy trucking.

The new KW hood mirrors are shaped similar to the ones on the new Volvo.
They do not shake or vibrate like the round mirrors and actually installed as a set look just fine.

If you want to dress up all 6 wheels for 200 bucks check Empire Chrome online....very reasonable on the 6 wheel kits.

Congrats and I hope you have started a great journey!!

Contrary to some guys here, I would get a mirrors, they help to see in blind zones!
Ask Mr @blairandgretchen about everything, he will help You as much as he can (he is flatbed, just keep in mind).

Do You have somebody who will be 2nd par of eyes to look for freight?

    Best of luck!

    blairandgretchen Thanks this.

IIRC Landstar requires the hood mirrors, at least on the passenger side. Sharp ride, now make some money, find a painter, and add some COLOR to that blank canvas! :) (Or not, your choice. I like colorful trucks if I'm paying for them. Mine was purple).
