Lol, you are so fluffin clueless about that driver.
Entered through a POE, got arrested. Getting arrested is just part of the process.
Applied for asylum
Was bonded out (legally authorized to be in us at this moment)
Received work permit/visa..
Went to CDL school…nothing illegal about it. Got his CDL (WA did screw up by giving a long term license)
Went to CA and got a short term CDL
Got inspection in NM and communicated well with the officer..video proof from the officers body camera proved this.
Surprised you didn’t know any of this
Maybe hang out with a different crowd?
This is more the reason for California to have their authority to issue cdl’s revoked

Once notified by the FMCSA that someones CDL needs to be revoked..states have 30 days to comply…very interesting
-
Some do it in just a few days, some a lot longer.
The catch is if you get an inspection (FMCSA present) the driver is OOS even though the state still say's the license is valid.
Had that happen with a driver one time. We were on that states system to notify any changes in the license.Concorde Thanks this. -
I must be a fool then. I’ve been in court several times and never thought to have a translator there for me. Then again i guess i wouldn’t need one since i’m proficient in the english language.

I wouldn’t call you a fool for not understanding the context of the discussion. I would recommend backing up and rereading the discussion though.

Probably went to this "school'

"I can’t even imagine the amount of stress that driver was under knowing that he just killed 3 people from his stupidity."
Video shows no concern from the driver, very nonchalant. Acted as if nothing happened. Same with the non English speaking driver in FL a few months ago who hit a worker on the shoulder and kept going for several hundred miles. No concern, did not understand why he should not be released.
Regarding your statement about the almost 200k non domiciled getting another license after expiration under the new rules. The purpose is to get rid of them, they will not qualify after expiration and will be gone from the industry.drvrtech77 and Concorde Thank this. -
What is going on here

I actually haven’t watched the video or any of the similar videos. Only because I’ve just seen way too many of these accidents over the years up close. Many where I’m first on scene. Got to a point I just couldn’t get the images out of my head.
I get what you’re saying though and the general public in general will translate that video the same way you see it.
That stress caused mental blackout scenario I mentioned is much more complex than just the small example I was trying to convey.
I get these blackouts all the time and they get worse as I get older. Last two accidents I came up on that pushed my stress to the limits I absolutely struggled with my phone trying to call 911..I couldn’t find the call icon, lol.
How you translated that driver on the video is actually and could be caused by extreme stress.
“Stress can cause a person to mask emotions by creating a sense of detachment or emotional numbness," which makes them appear nonchalant or indifferent. This is a defense mechanism where the brain disengages from overwhelming feelings to protect itself from further emotional harm, leading to a flat or detached emotional state. While it may feel like a temporary relief, this shutdown can lead to long-term issues like detachment and isolation.”
As far as the hit and run driver in Brevard..
They can give him a boat ride into international waters and let him swim home. No taxpayer funding for a life preserver either. -
