I have a question.
Instead of being the stereotypical ###hole trucker trying to prove a point, why couldn't you show the common decency of respecting their private property rights and parking your #### somewhere else?
This is private property, you can't park there

I wouldn't be surprised if the OP comes back from his home time and find someone broke into the truck or find some kind of damage. Just saying...... like said in earlier post, I would move of I was told to move. I wouldn't be comfortable knowing what to expect when I would returned. But that's just me cause my name is on my doors.

Hmmm. Seems like the whole "move when asked" issue has been beat to death. I noticed one other aspect of this that no one else has keyed on. To argue your point is one thing, but to further waste your home-time by driving back to the parking lot and sitting next to your truck, again, on your home-time, is a serious waste of precious home-time.
When I was younger, and even more hot-headed than I am now (if possible), I had a manager take me aside and teach me an expression that has changed my life to this very day. He taught me when I got hot over some work issue to ask myself, "is this the hill you intend to die on?" I don't believe wasting your valuable home-time to prove a moot point like this is the hill you should be dying on.Tug Toy, ncmickey, TripleSix and 1 other person Thank this. -

The security supervisor was insisting to excerise his power. Right or wrong, im going to stand up for what i believe in. If terrorists are willing to die for unguaranteed 72 virgins after death, you best believe im willing to fight for this small hill. -
As far as the replies go.. here's my take on it.
I probably would have moved. But only if there was somewhere else to move to..
But at the same time, the supervisor isn't the owner of the property. If you've been there for 4 years, who's to say that they didn't just hire a new supervisor with a chip on his shoulder and once he said that the truck needs to go he didn't want to lose face by changing his mind when challenged. -
pattyj and HalpinUout Thank this.
