Anyone who owns private property can tell you ... "Out." and if you refuse, prosecute you for trespass and then arrest you should you return.

My thinking is to buy a acre and park there. That way no one can tell you out on your own land.

Reminding a mall owner that there are no signs is a sure bet to have a forest planted around there before long.

Long ago along a few heavy lanes of traffic like 81 parking at all was precious. Now it's more precious due to the loss of truckstops and or free parking that you need. Part of the problem is some drivers are filthy. Creating a mess that costs the property owner good money to get rid of.

Get a clue bud, truck drivers have a bad image because of bad habits has absolutely nothing to do with them not seeking legal action. When you parked there was it for long periods of time?Think what semis even bobtails do to the pavement.Who cares if there weren't any signs you need to respect property and ask the supervisor if you can park there and for how long.

    He doesn't care Patty.
Common courtesy would tell you to find a new place to park after what happened to him.

No doubt, when I was OTR and parked in a lot I always went inside and ask the manager if it was alright I park there while on my 10 hr brk. Some said no due to their policies and I respected that and left.Especially if you park where there's no other trucks it's wise to go in and ask if you can park there.

My father has owned large strip malls for years. Constantly dealing with people setting cars up for sale and stealth campers and such is not tolerated.

Why anyone would think they are entitled to drop off their truck in someone's parking lot while they take their home time is beyond me.

I'm reserving judgement until OP let's us know whether or not the PROPERTY OWNER allowed him to park there prior to this. Some supervisor and a brand new security guy don't count.

Yup, even a phone call asking for permission can open up doors (lots) that wouldn't otherwise be available.

Case in point, a Walmart store in Ohio. It was nice and close to my final delivery, so I looked them up and called them about 5 hours prior to arrival. The manager gave me permission to park there and told me where in the lot it would be ok to park.

As soon as I turned into the lot, a big "no overnight parking" sign greeted me. I went to the location she was allowing me to park, then went in and sought her out to see what was up. She told me that they don't allow overnight truck parking, but because I called and asked, she was giving me permission. She then told the night manager that I would be parked there and not to bother me.
