This is way better looking than new trucks.

I don't I blame anybody for liking all that space in most of the new trucks. I just think it's a waste for me to have all that room when nobody ever goes Anywhere With You or me I mean. And it's a bunch of space never used. And I'm out two to three weeks at a time.

Ok. I'll take a aluminum cab that don't get rotted. And I see now way a coil is more reliable than an airbag. This is why spring ride is extinct.

to add to my previous post. The industry is changing from where it used to be back when those trucks were more popular. With paper logs you had more freedom to circumvent the law, giving you more time to stop and enjoy a good sit down meal. Inflation and the dollar was much better back then, with today's stagnant wages, HOS laws 100% being enforced (through ELOGs). It is much beneficial to have a fridge/microwave in truck, inverters for an electric pan and what not to help save money. Eating at a restaurant now (dennys etc) at least $15 a meal. It is just not feasible to live like that with how much you earn plus the bills at home, etc,

I can use all that space. I'd leave the bottom bunk as the table full time (volvo 860). Sleep up top. Take my laptop out as im being unloaded. I will def utilize all of the room in that truck. Heck, i'm dreaming about owning one of those big sleepers. At least 100-120" lol.

Haha good one. I just rather live on the road. What's the point for paying an appt or house when you hardly live in it..

Saw one at Winnipeg truck show about 1989 when they were being introduced. The integral sleeper was very attractive
