How do you supervise the loading and unloading of you're trailer from the sleeper?

You don't. Lots of places don't even let you step in the docks anymore.

 

well the new 579 has a big sleeper now. They finally joined the rest of the pack.

 

Well that's just begging for a freight claim and a load to come up short. Not going on my truck unless i count it as it goes in the trailer and its loaded to my specifications. I'm certainly not going to put my livelihood in the hands of some 10 dollar an hour day laborer.

 

Haven't been OO so as company driver I didn't worry too much about it. Usually came out fine. Specially with reefer loads, they don't unload you right away so..

 

That's what I started in an 80 model. 300 big cam cummins 9spd and springs. Also no power steering and the air didn't work
But I didn't care,was just running local and learning.
