    This is probably why i-40 feels worse than normal. 1 hour backups in middle of nowhere new mexico just because of construction merging two lanes to one

    Hanging Lake is reservation only now anyways. There's a hike from the grizzly creek rest area that follows the creek that starts just east of the restrooms. Only parking for a couple trucks, though.
