In the Marine corp we called them dragons since they look like one from the front. We also mostly have the old ones that split right after the cab to turn and they have the old 8V92 detroit in them. Smokey loud hoss!

You know the funny thing is the Marines ship theirs as oversize and the Army doesn't. The Marine unit is typically the older two piece and I think they either include the mirrors or the rubber thing over the wheel wells to say it is oversize like 103". Yermo makes you get a CA permit to pick it up but nobody flags it leaving the depot. Same thing out of Jacksonville. Pick the Army version up all over the place and they always show 96" on the bills. What gives?

I would have taken out some of that JP-8 and put it into the truck.

Doesn't that thing split in half and can't it hook to another body like a wrecker or a box ? And isn't it all wheel driver ?

I was at Pendleton and I saw a chopper ( big mama ) picking up a piece like the box end and carry it over to to another spot........ totally cool !!
