I never said ALL exports are bad EXPORTS as a rule are cheap LOW END radios with limited receivers ( simple NB/ANL ) Many the transmiters are again limited but useful few have built in audio processers and many do not even go on SSB.

    BUT they work ....

Very true! 99% of all HF rigs made in the last 20 years or more can be coverted to 11 meters. Most are easier to do than the Exports. But he still doesn't understand that he is the real Law Breaker here! Not the Driver who just owns a Export rig. He bring up Parts 95 & 97. Which don't say what he says. Then he brings up K1MAN? Who has nothing to do with anything here! There's no law against anything he said!

I'm sorry! I forgot that Delta 5 Force just made up one!

Not sure if I was targeting something you said or not...There's been so many post now on the subject, there all running together!

Main thing I was getting at, was some here keep posting that "ALL" of the Exports are just cheap junky radios and thats simply not true...And if you believe others, the Exports are Just illegal CB Radios, there are allot of CB Radios that are junk...Cobra 18 comes to mind right off the bat.

Main thing that makes these or any other radio sound like crap, is not the radios fault, but what someone has done to it after the sale...

Just why am I a lawbreaker? Because I pointed out that a good share of the cb radios out here are illegal imports? I really wonder if Big_M is even a real ham or not....

I'm wondering just why do you care if they are or not? Like I pointed out earlier... Less than 1% of the population even owns a CB Radio...

Don't try to change the facts. And the facts are you are trying to re-write laws your way. You didn't point out anything other than that. You quote Part 97. Then Part 95. Neither say anything that you said it does. Then you call drivers Criminals. By saying that you are reporting crimes. When in fact no crimes ware commited. By anyone other than you. You trying to impose your own twisted views upon drivers. When no FCC Regs can be enforced by anyone other than Them & Law Enforcement. You need to learn that. Then you bring up things such as K1MAN, & MARS.

The point is that the exports are illegal to import and market. And the FCC is not enforcing that...I'm glad

If you key up an illegal export radio outside of the 10 meter ham band, you ARE A CRIMINAL! At least according to the FCC...

The "EXPORT" radios on that list are ALL manufactured in the US ... most if not ALL of them are manufactured by Ranger Electronics. There seems to be some confusion about what is meant by an "EXPORT" radio...this term is used to identify a radio manufactured in the US by a US company that has already been modified to operate at full power on all bands, including 11 meter, and is intended to be "EXPORTED" to other countries in the world where the US FCC is not the authority regulating use of airwaves. Interestingly, the places that are outside FCC authority, most of the world actually, CB/11 meter is just another amateur band, and there is no Amateurs having a problem with this arrangement in their areas. This phoenomena of HAMS having a problem with 11meter use by the public at the same output power as the other FCC HAM bands IS ONLY PRESENT WHERE THERE IS FCC REGULATION. If your a HAM, next time your chatting with Australia or China or any other country outside FCC authrity, ask them about how much trouble they are having with high power on 11 meters:)
I think you will learn something....but mebbe not...still worth a try!

No where in the FCC Regs do they call anyone a Criminal! By LAW they can not! It's a Regulation! Not a Law! Criminals break Laws!!! <Insult Removed>Because you want to impose YOUR will upon the people. And not the Law of the Land.
