When it gets right down to it--------yeah. It probably WAS a ham that turned the CBer in. I've said MANY times that IF the CBERS/truckers---whatever----would STAY where the h--- they belong, you'd never hear from the hams! BUT NO! "THEY" think they've got special rights to flap their jaws anywhere. And not only THAT, how DARE anyone object to their illegal activities! If the hams object to finding people ON 10 Meters and track them down (they WILL!!!), they are now "snitches" and snobs and "ham crybabies". It depends on what side of the street you're on.
Amateur radio is WAY more orderly, organized and USABLE BECAUSE THE HAMS THEMSELVES POLICE THE BANDS BY REP0RTING VIOLATORS TO FCC. If you LIKE the mess that is CB radio, one must wonder about the calibre of the people who would "love" such a rat's nest of racket, spattering amplifiers, and DIS-organization. By keeping amateur radio FREE (mostly) of such junk, it is WAY, WAY more fun than that howling, squealing, over-modulated, over-powered mess ever could be.
BTW, Bruce, I got a QSL card from mainland China the other day. The guy heard me in our little 75 Meter group back in September. Come up and join us sometime; it's 3923 SSB in the mornings from about 6-9:30 AM. I haven't been getting on recently because it's been too COLD down stairs just to fire up the heat for a couple of hours. When it's 15 degrees and snow, well..............you know!

The Ham bones round these parts"Central Texas" are not the cry babies of the upper east coast.
Talk with the stations across the nation,they all carry the same opinion.
The self righteous legal eagles are extremely few and far between in the real world,only time you ever hear them is when their trolling public CB forums.The ones you hear going on witch hunts are after the key down clowns running big power recorders/repeaters that lock channels down.
Without ham bones there would be no Watergate
