    AMEN BROTHER!!!!!!!!!!!
This nut, "The Housefly" as I have seen others here refer to him, is absolutely the worst ambassador for radio as a hobby I have ever seen anywhere, and I suspect the reason he is on this board at all instead of the forums that exist for legitimate HAM operators is proboly a result of the same type of posting there. Just a thought and my opinion.

MASTERTECH please read the post I just quoted above by jessejamesdallas, then go back and read the original post that started all this in the first place. Just read any post Gadfly has made here and see if you can find any reason for him to group truckers as he does in EVERY single post he makes to start a thread here! I am a trucker and a radio operator, and his continued use of this forum to agitate and harrass is BS. There is NO other reason for his posts.

This person is not even attempting to educate or seriously enlighten anybody, he apparently is only interested in starting trouble. I am appalled he is allowed to continue to post here. I resent his obvious prejudice against truckers being allowed to continue in a forum that is dedicated to truckers and CALLED the "TRUCKERS REPORT.COM". This website forum is not intended to be nor is it titled "HAM RADIO NUTS AGAINST TRUCKERS.COM", and I don't understand the tolerance that is being granted here by the forum operators.

    Just My Thoughts

I been saying the same thing ever since I first found this site...And what is really irritating, is Godfly has managed to get others involved in his tasteless scare tactic's and down-grading people who enjoy CB Radio for what it is.

"IF" someone on this Forum was really interested in getting into Ham radio, they would just Google "Ham radio Forums"...

Just go threw the threads where someone asks a question about a 10 Meter or Export radio, or ask a question about running a Amp with a CB Radio, and then try and keep up with how many Ham's come back in spouting off at the mouth about why it's a bad idea...Or in their words "Illegal"....Get a grip! Speeding is illegal...Not coming to a complete stop at a Stop sign is Illegal...Point is, legal or not, it's not there place to Parent what others are wanting to do...And I also agree with silentpardner in the fact that certain people here have offered nothing to the Forum, other than to stir the pot...

This is a "Trucker's Forum"....This section of the Forum is entitled "CB RADIO Forum"...Truckers for the most part use CB Radios in their Rigs and Not Ham radios to communicate with other Truckers, check Highway conditions, speed traps, Information on where their going, and weather ahead or other traffic conditions.

If they were interested in talking to Bob in Tim-buck-two South America, they would stay home, get a 9 to 5 job, and maybe then get a Ham radio...

I would love to see the feds start grabbing illegal radios out of these trucks. The clowns that use them with their modulation limiters clipped and overdriven cause interference to other radio services and could even put people in danger (aircraft comms). But, why take them from the drivers when they wont even shut down the distributors like Copper Electronics that sell the ones that arent even supposed to be imported here (how do they get through customs?...). I have noticed that all of the truckstop chains have stopped selling the illegal imports recently. I wonder what happened there? I am only seeing the legal type accepted CBs now. No more Galaxy 88's, 99's etc. The best Galaxy radio you are going to get from the major truckstop chains now is the Galaxy 959, which is basically a neutered 99 with most of the binary chips deleted so it it harder to modify. That radio is a legal CB, out of the box.
