Hmmm. I've had a 65 Special (odd fired V-6), 68 Skylark, 69 GS 350 (pictured in my avatar and the genesis of my Six9GS moniker) and a 71 limited (Yes, I'm a Buick fan!!). I don't remember any of those with amber bulbs.

American car makers started using amber front lights (bulbs or lenses) as early as 1962, because the white light was being confused with the headlights. In the mid 70's they tried to convert to rear amber signals, like most people overseas, but Americans would have none of that. I am sure you notice that all truck trailers are amber (mid point) and flash when you turn.

My ‘65 GTO and Lemans, ‘65 Galaxy, ‘58 Olds, ‘58Edsel, ‘59 Ford, ‘78 Vette, ‘81 Firebird, and ‘84 Grandprix, ‘84 Lincoln Mark7 all came with clear front turn lenses with amber bulbs. ‘72 C10’s had them either way. As far as trucks. ‘47 Reo and ‘51 Diamond T came with actual clear glass lenses ( icc marker on cab and parking on top of headlight pod) with amber bulbs.

My friend's cousin's uncle's nephew works in the light bulb industry and said that it's all based on a deep state conspiracy, and that Hitler is orchestrating it from his nursing home in Argentina. With the help of Stalin, Elvis, John Denver, and Mother Theresa.

All kept alive by secret technology developed by the aliens who built the pyramids.

You forgot 10 highjackers to take the thread in 10 other directions not relevant to light bulb changing.

I heard it was still being run by the brains of George Westinghouse and Thomas Edison that are kept in jars in an underground factory built by Nikola Tesla’s great-great grandson in the Nevada desert.

Anybody know the best way to unclog a drain?

Is it possible to use ground up lightbulb filaments?

    650cat425 Thanks this.
