This stuff any good?

I’m in the PB camp. Lucas product’s is just overhyped and overpriced gear oil.

 

I think the 5th wheel grease rocks.

Speaking of WD-40, I've learned a couple things by trial and error. WD works amazingly well as a degreaser for your hands or really anything else, especially on that awful 5th wheel/truck grease. I wouldn't use brake cleaner or PB on my hands since I prefer to get my cancer from other places but I will use WD. It's just a light oil, basically.

Another thing about it is it's thin enough to put in a spray bottle and it won't eat the seals in the bottle. Somebody gave me a gallon of WD-40 years ago and I started putting it in spray bottles (meaning pump spray glass cleaner bottles). Works awesome. I'm sure it's much cheaper by the gallon.

Y'all never tried Fluid Film, and it shows. That stuff is amazing, although I have to order it online.

 

I've heard good things but never tried it. Then again I don't live in Michigan.

 

So when it says "lubricates" and "penetrates" it might have a double meaning?

 

Lowes carries it. It is an awesome lube, but it's not a penetrating product.
