    Is the days of a true operator/owner over? I say this in light of how there use to be small farmers. No such thing anymore as a small farmer. Just wondering.

    No.. mega carriers are actually a small percentage of the overall picture. They'll never kill off the small farms either, there'll always be some that persevere in spite of all.
