CDL Commercial Driver Lumper! How much are they paying you to unload all that freight? Why I ask is that you never mentioned that you were getting paid to unload the trailer and sweat like a migrant worker picking berries in some third world

i unload and load trailers all the time but theres something about family dollar and dollar general loads that will drain besides having to unload 1200 pieces tight backing and a schedule that is almost impossible meet if you face any problems, plus all the different items that makes it so difficult... I rather have someone tickle my rear and call me sally than do another one of those loads

you flushed your electrolytes dude bro. you seriously could have died (7 years fighting wars in deserts) sometimes drinking plain water is just as bad as no water. if you ever get in that situation again (and i hope not) water down a gatorade at a 1:1 ratio. Concerning what @BostonTanker said cold water is fine unless youre having a heat stroke and you're drinking it, not chugging it.

gatorade has all the #### you need but contains a cubic #### ton of salt which crazy enough will dehydrate you even more than if you didnt drink any at all. your body can only process 1 quart of water an hour but can expel much more than that.

    BostonTanker Thanks this.

I dunno. I don't drink gaterade due to the salt content. Coffee and room temp water. I work outdoors year round. I have since I was a kid.

I've used this stuff called Electroblast for years.

Concentrated electrolytes in a small squirt bottle, you can add it to any drink. A much better alternative to gatorade.

Be glad you were not driving when driver unloaded 45,000lbs in 50lb boxes a few years back,,drink a lot of water and pace your self,,if all you have done is sit behind the wheel then you are most likely out of shape, get more exercise.
I had a blow out on the trailer last Friday, the tire guy was about 34 and weighed 240lbs,,took him over an hour to take the wheel off remove the tire and then out it all back to gehter with a new tire, after just taking the wheel off he had to take a break. It was 95 out side too, I hated to tell hime I did 8 tires a couple years ago at home in 6 hours and it was 110 in the shade,,an I am over 60!!
If all you do is drive then you must get out of the truck and at least do some walking .

Tough job, I did it for SNI/Dollar Tree for 8 months at the age of 56 and yes the dang docks and doors you had to get into were sometimes near impossible.
