Your $5,000 down payment, was that based off your credit or is that a standard down payment to get the ball rolling on a build? Once all the paper work was settled, did the bank require more? I'm looking into them as well. Thinking of upgrading my ride. That Pete is beautiful, great color scheme..

$5k was all they required. That was to get your spot in line for build. I ended up putting $30k total down, but the bank approved me for the full amount minus the $5k. Thanks for the flowers.

    Tobytob Thanks this.

That's is a beautiful truck... Would you mind sharing how much you ended up paying for that in total? I've seen your 5,000 deposit and then the 30,000 down total but didn't see a final figure... Thanks much...

What's the price difference between these and new? Btw, I love the idea of not having the emissions issues, and better mpg! My main worries would be longevity of engine, tranny, and rear end since they're rebuilds...

About 15-20k off of new. I will put up a rebuilt 60 series Detroit against any DPF motor.

Currently I'm running a detroit egr motor, after all the troubles I've had with this. I wouldn't think about touching a DPF motor!!
Still doing research on a glider. May rebuild a detroit 12.7 and slide it in my truck or get one out of the crate!! Best option around if your not running Cali!! My opinion of course!!

Paint job was close. I saw yours last night and when I saw that one today just had to ask. It was parked as I went by so I didn't get a close up.
