Correct. Also did rods & mains about 5-6 years ago bc of a low oil pressure problem. Come to find out it was a loose wire to the gauge in the dash.

To the OP, I'll throw this in for reference.
Two years ago I bought my '99 W9 with a 500 hp N14 redhead, 13 speed and 3:55's on tall 24's. I looked for a couple of years before I found the combo that I wanted. I wanted a hood, but didn't care if it was Pete or KW. But I wanted this engine and drive train. Finally found this one. I gave $18,500 for it. It had some blow by but ran good. Had 1.2 million on the clock. I drove it a year and a half and finally did an inframe in June of this year. She never did lay down on me, it was just time for a rebuild. N14's are not real expensive to rebuild.
Point is, there are cheaper trucks out there. May not have the studio sleeper, but this is a business and should be treated as such.
Just don't be in a big hurry and don't be afraid to walk away if the price ain't right. And don't let shiny paint and chrome sway you, that can all be added later after you get some cash in the bank.
Good luck.nax Thanks this. -
