That's not the point, the point is that he is jamming channel 19 across the continent, to the point that we can't use it as far away as Maine and upstate New York! I personally have absolutely no issue with someone that wants to run power on their radio, like many other things, you have to be respectful with it, and don't do stupid crap.
This guy is going above and beyond to just jam the band. He bleeds all over a dozen other channels on either side of 19. He is running thousands of watts. I can't hear drivers half a mile away from me when that idiot is on the air! I have personally filed half a dozen reports with the FCC against him, and I've been in regular communication with them regarding it, giving them up to date information.
There are quite a few folks that know right where he is, and if we could all get together.. We could probably put a stop to it. The government just doesn't care. We pay them trillions of dollars, and we get absolutely nothing in return.

He's been jamming channel 19 and most of the citizens banned for the better part of a year now.. The last couple of months, he has made it to where I can't even hear a driver that is half a mile away from me. I have heard him all the way up to Seattle, all the way up to Bangor Maine, and all the way down to Miami Florida! He needs to be stopped. He's located in Lordsburg New Mexico. Since we can't get law enforcement to do anything, I'm sure there are enough folks willing to get together, and find his exact location, and put a stop to this. He is causing accidents across the country because drivers can't get information because all they hear is his narcissistic ranting and raving. We could all put a stop to this if we just work together.

It's not about competing, guys with high powered competition radios are usually respectful enough to not jam an important channel. Mud duck is a whole different story. He needs his compass repointed so to speak. You just don't shoot skip on channel 19, it's bad rhetoric.. it's rude.. if you want to yak on side band, you go up into the high 30 channel range.. if you want to shoot DX on AM, you stay up in the '20s, or down in the single digits and off of channel 9.

I must admit, this statement surprised me. The reason is, because hard drive always brags about having NIST certified equipment, and puts down other techs that don't. Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought his reasoning for certified equipment was to do a "fine tune" alignment so that his radios (and amp) won't bleed over other channels.
That's why he charges people a lot of money to eliminate the distortion (harmonics) in these export radios so they don't bleed over other channels. Splatter box anybody?

Im aware of who and where he is. I have to squelch him out all the time. But most out here violate the regs everyday and many dont know the regs exist. To ask that the regs be enforced on one person while most violate them is where i see a problem

Always 2 sides to a story.
I think it's in Fine Tune's best interest to keep his mouth shut and not tell his side.
Especially with the state AG looking at him.
What he says can and will be used against him.
Mr. Sena's email shown in a screenshot earlier gives us a clue that they might be taking a different route.

I don't think any of that "nist calibration" stuff is real. I did some searching and I can't find anything that backs up Fine Tune.
I made contact with some of the people that Fine Tune seems to hate the most and it's been interesting hearing the other side of those stories.

Who said the BBB was a govt agency? They are like the ASME, UL and so on….that being private entities. Reliable sources that have to act differently than an govt agency; as if they were bought and sold like cattle, their name would be tarnished and they wouldn’t be in business.

I don’t believe in the FCC nor their regulations. Most people with big radios stay on their respective channels like 6. Even if they pop in on 19, they walk all over hard drive, triggering him and sending him back to the bench.

All someone needs to do is pop by his trailer and rip out his antennas and so on. That is fair treatment and justice to the harm he’s caused others by robbing them. It’s also justice for channel 19. Waiting on the govt and wanting them to “do something” is a joke. I have more faith that someone in and around NM will deliver the Karma to him. Maybe they already have…he’s been quiet.

Well the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is a true calibration agency per the government.

    Calibrations

But I believe this program was designed for accuracy in medical devices, aviation instruments, etc., not for CB radio alignments. It's just another sales gimmick that hard drive uses to charge more money for his services, and to make childish videos to put down other CB techs.

Dude I'm on your side 1000%. I actually filed a real FCC case against him. I did all I can do.
