Some company would need to be mighty #### desperate to hire someone with that kinda record.. seems to me there would be 100 other guys in line without that kind of criminal record that would get hired first..reality

If there were 100 guys lined up for very trucking job the ATA wouldn't be trying to lower the CDL age limit to 18.

OP can you get a job trucking? Yes. Might not be a great one, but it can be done. Longer the time is between your last conviction/release and when you apply (therefore showing a better likelihood you have changed your ways) the better your chance that someone will give you a shot.

OP you may be in for a long road before anyone will give you a chance.Companies can't trust someone to haul their freight with robbery and burglary charges.Your convictions are 6 and 8 yrs old with only 2 yrs apart before you committed the other two with only 3 yrs since you got released from the pen. This industry is very unforgiving and to them that's not long enough to trust you.One felony maybe but 3 all together highly unlikely. How do they know you won't snap and do it again.

I have many friends in construction with felonies, and I would trust them with my family.......period!

Attempted robbery, petty theft, stolen credit cards, burglary, breaking and entering.......is going to be hard to swallow for anyone that you apply with.

I get this nagging feeling that you were also in on a lot of other BS that you didn't get caught for, and was not included in your OP.

Yes trucking companies will hire some felons..........(certain felonies & misdemeanors)

If I were a company recruiter, I would toss your application into the round file. Three years of being clean is nice, but I want to see how you have turned out in another 5-6 years myself.

Sorry if I come off as a Jerk, but you have hurt a lot of folks along the way, and you don't get to skip the the time it takes for proving yourself. Three years doesn't mean squat.

There are companies that will most likely take you, I'll second Carolina Cago but expect horrible pay at first but to stay realistic this is all most people are going to see

    #1 TRIED to steal something
    #2 Posession of STOLEN property
    #3 BURGLARY
Misedemeanors - Stole a bunch of small stuff

It's going to be difficult to find somebody to trust you with their stuff and a truck to move said stuff thoughout the country. Mentioning your clean and sober, if drugs WERE a problem, if asked about it don't be shy to mention it. It may help you if they think the drugs were the reason for those and not you being an outright thief. Don't give up, somebody will take you on. Don't forget about things like trash and construction. They pay descent and aren't as picky.

    Good Luck

It's going to be hard. I just got my CDL and got felonies. I working local right now with no experience so definitely possible. In my opinion DO NOT LIE on the big Question. If you lie they will know you haven't changed.. lie cheat steal.... so lying does no good. I 've been accepted at a job or two but turned them down. I can still be choosy because I have other options. For a noob I can drive but I just focus on not hitting anything anyone. Get on c-list and write down every number on first page and CALL them ALL. If your truly serious you will find work. Don't let people discourage you.
