There are three other possible reasons for someone to apply at TransAm for an OTR job.

    1) From what I have heard and understand, once you get to orientation, one's background check and other verifications, (employment history, MVR, criminal background check, etc.), have already been done and taken care of. For many individuals, this will lessen their chances of being sent home from orientation.

    2) Again, from what I have heard and understand, when the applicant shows up with a valid medical card, (regardless whether it is a one year or a two year medical card), the applicant is not required to go to a company doctor for another physical. For many individuals, this will lessen their chances of being sent home from orientation, due to not "passing the company physical".

    3) Lastly, from what I have heard and understand, applicants are not required to list references on their job applications. This really helps out an individual who is not able to list a "verifiable" reference to vouch for him or her, for one reason or another.

These 3 reasons alone can really be a serious 1st. or 2nd. chance for an individual either starting out or trying to get back onto their feet, due to some flaw or mishap in his or her past.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!
