Throttling will get you in to trouble.

Not using hotspot on your phone you dont. Not unless you are on an older pre-exempt plan or one of the Mobley devices.

Not talking about phone data,.. talking about wifi/hotspot data. I go through over 100gb a month on my phone data as well. That data is unlimited.

But they ALL will throttle back hotspot data.

AT&T has good and bad news for users of its limit-ridden unlimited plans

Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile say they have unlimited data plans, but here's the fine print

I've never been throttled with sprint. And I used to send movies to my dad all the time 1700 miles away. Using an http home created ip address. Have yet to see att throttle back. Never had problems with verizon either but at that time. I had 32 gigs to use. I do notice verizon eats data up like crazy compared to other carriers.

I've never had throttle problems. I've only had useage problems. To which one seems to use up 4 times more for the same useage.

You're probably right about the hotspot though. Vs. cell phone.

    And again,.. I ask.

Are you talking about phone data,.. or hotspot data?
    You need to be specific.

Because I can tell you that Verizon does not throttle back my phone either,.. I can use gigs and gigs of data doing what ever I want. But thats only when using the phone.

Using the hotspot for my laptop to get data,.. thats a different story.

I'm getting tired of hearing about California wildfires. Let it burn so you don't have to worry about it again for a few generations.

Good luck trying to fight Mother Nature.

It isn't Verizon's problem people are doing something stupid. I don't like their throttling either but it is in the contract... Don't like it; go somewhere else.

I'm sure he meant 100. And even 100 is pretty extreme with a whole lot of video being done.

Forest fires are not meant to be prevented. It's natural and burns of all the dead stuff. Helping the soil as well.

I can use 10gb in less than 15 days, when watching YouTube at 144 resolution. So I'm not liking Verizon .

    LOL

I can burn through 10gb in 1 day at 1080P resolution,... more if I connect my 4k smart TV to go directly through the wifi hotspot on my phone and watch 4k Netflix. That will eat 10gb in under 2 hours.
