Throwing straps over a tall load, aka containers or other.

Tried it. The video that Fwl posted is what I was trying to explain. What Tripple6 calls the slingshot.

Doing this you can throw a stap over a 14' load with the same effort as a short strap over plate steel.

 

Omg!!!! I read this last night...... Picked up 2 containers today. I have learned a lot reading this forum but, this is the single best thing I have learned since I started flat bedding 8 months ago!!! Way easier than anything else I have tried. Fought with the "slingshot" a little bit. Guess i will have to practice more but, the "grenade lob" worked pertty good too.

But i will try the slingshot method, i do grenade and two hand over head. I wached sergi (sp?) On the facetubes, looks promising

 

If you can't master slingshot method you can always take a ball with some 550 cord attached throw it attach strap pull it over and repeat. If you can't at least get a baseball over you might be in trouble. For Schlitz and giggles you could always use your rod and reel. You do carry one with you, right?

If he masters the slingshot method, he will be able to throw a 40ft strap over 2 trailers.
