It is pretty funny, even if was directed at me.

However it's also pretty gutless doing that stuff online or over the CB. I'm not a very big guy nor a tough guy but I can hold my own, and I bet I'd break his finger before I went down if he did that to me in person. Seldom do I get punked out of a fight and if I do it's never from the type of cowards that does stuff like that online or over a CB. It's always the quite types...the one's I'd least expect that on occasion punk me out.

I have read all 7 pages on this post, many off the subject, but I look at the profile: Example-

    Thanks: 27
    Thanked: 61 Times

this man for example, has 27 years of Experience in Trucking.
He has been there and done that. I look at this being as being a Professional Truck Driver. Period. Now the people that have less than 20 years of Experience, need to put more time in. When we are on subject related to Trucking, I can see by reading each post, The personality of a driver. I can tell who Is a qualified Safe Driver. Sure some of the Veteran Drivers can Kid around here and there, but its all fun. But our actions on the road, are what get us 38 years driving, 1 ticket in 1985, 1 ticket in 1974. No accidents. I know for a fact, there are Veteran Drivers on this board, that can top that, and Those are the best of the best in the industry. Everyone else, listen to them and learn from there stories being on the road that many years. Its a life long experience, not to be earned in a few years.

I doubt it (at least not from fighting... well, maybe online fights but that's about it) and I doubt it.

You might as well of kept going, whats the difference if you get caught going over 120 besides death, loss of bike, and felony? I have done 150 before on open highway north Miami Turnpike and would not stop either if blue lighted. I don't ride anymore!

27 years of talking smack and being a smart### over the CB. Yea, I'd buy that. Thanked 61 times...again most of it's probably from takeing sides on online disagreements, or from being a funny guy. I doubt there have been to many thanks from insightful stuff like "how to fix this" or "how do you fill out a IFTA, or meaningful things like that.

Also do you know how many guys on here claim years that don't add up? This guy may be telling the truth on years driving but many on here claim "driving or riding in a semi one time on a farm" as years driving. Not to take away from those that really did grow up, work, and operate heavy trucks on a farm. I've been around diesel trucks (semi trucks) since I was 16 or 17, so does hanging out at my best friends Dad's trucking company count as years experience since I would drive one around the yard on occasion? If so then yea I have 22 years experience. No, I have 13 years driving tractor trailers, a few years driving straight trucks, bucket trucks and other commerical vehicles before that and a couple years driving duece n halfs and 5 once in awhile in the military. However I claim 13 years since that's how long I've had my Class A and been driving tractor trailers.

I don't think I paid out more then $500 including the attorney fees. Sure sometimes you can escape and there have been occasions when I've played dumb and briskly kept going or took a few turns hoping they won't persue or won't catch up, but this would of been very obvious that I was evading. At 6am on a Sunday in November heading into downtown Kansas City, I would of stood out like a sore thumb. As it turned out, I still was able to attend the track day in Topeka later that day. Besides, like I said I try to keep playing on the streets to a minimum and don't play around other cars. In this particuliar event, had I run from the cops, I would of probably got caught, been killed, or killed somebody else. Since I knew the rest of my license was clean and I wasn't playing around other vehicles, I figured I could get out of it, and for the most part, I did.

You need another 7 years and Your there. Anything above the 20, you earned, then you get to tell how. That 7 years will fly by. Just keep a Great driving record. Good Luck.

So until then I never have to help another driver jump start his truck, climb under and thaw frozen brakes, slide tandems, help tarp, give directions, mount a tire, fix a broken hydraulic line, help backing up, etc, etc, etc because I only have 13 years?. I doubt the guys with over 20 years that I've helped at shippers, truckstops, or at work would agree with your thinking. I've helped guys with little experience and those with a lot more experience then me, likewise I've learned and been helped from guys with 30+ years and from guys with less then a couple years. I learn from those that I like and even those that I dislike. Anyway, thanks for the "good luck" if it was sincere.
