Pretty f't up way of trying to get you to pay instead of taking the time to fight it. I've heard of fines being less if you paid in a shorter time period, but not points increased because you don't.

    It's all about the money.

Some jurisdictions won't report the violation to the state OMV if you pay within a certain time.
But, they're not doing you a favor. It's a way they have of taking in revenue that's "off-the-books."
That way, nobody really knows how much money a little town is taking in from tickets.

they said the same thing to me 2 years ago. and if i remember right. it was 2 points doubled after 30 days. don't ask me on what though. cuz it was only a citation that's not shown anywhere. not a inspection.

Not if there wasn't an inspection involved . Posts need to be more clear on the circumstances . I never heard of CSA points increasing with time . CSA points are assigned at the time of violation anyway . Traffic tickets should be fought with an attorney .
