1. 99.6% of the motoring public, excluding spouses or significant others of truckers.
2. Any fan of Ice Road Truckers. No turns on the Dalton.
3. People too engrossed in their cell phones to actually read those pesky little signs.
4. People lacking common sense. Sorry, but they are taking over and we have to deal with it.

Yes, those signs are now law in Maine. Since stupidity is winning, stupid lawmakers have to pass stupid laws to protect stupid people from their own stupidity.
We either have to commend Maine for recognizing this stupidity and being a trendsetter state, or be very careful with our diet, because excessive lobster consumption kills brain cells.Hammer166 and formertaxidriver Thank this. -
Good Gerda! Well, I haven't been back to Maine in almost 4 years and I won't go again. I have nothing against Maine personally (maybe except it's Alaska Lite), but the Diesel Cops are real A-Holes, and the normal cops seem to have big beefs with tractor trailers.
If the hit is out on big trucks, I'll take that cue wherever it is. Maine has been working big trucks since I started my short career, and most likely much earlier than that. -
