Tidbit i didnt know.

I remember talking with an old fella at a truckstop bout that one time. He went further though, talking about how it's all a conspiracy and the whole trucking industry is ran by one family and that's why wages are what they are, etc. But there is obviously a nugget of truth to it. I mean heck, cr england, knight, swift, and pride - what's that like 30 to 40 % of the industry??? Interesting at least...

 

interesting to know that 4 companies are owned or in the circle with C.R. England.

 

I was under the impression all the major carriers were interrelated somehow? And aren't there some marriage connections between J.B. Hunt and the railroads, too?

The way i understood it All trucking companies salt lake city are family related somehow. I knew about the knight transportation and swift connection. I didn't know that swift was connected with cr england. Not very surprising!
