One of my best friends in high school was a daredevil skydiver. He told me all the time he knew eventually he was gonna go, “splat“. He was one of the best out there but one day he was doing a swoop. Which is where they come in at an angle at a very high speed and skim the surface of the ground. Well he didn’t get it right and he hit the ground and went splat. Dead at 40 years. Thousands of jumps.
Me personally, I just don’t see any good reason to jump out of a perfectly good airplane. Now I might put a parachute on and jump out of a plane that was going to crash. But I’m not doing it for any other reason. LolJoeyJunk, MIT, NorthEastTrucker and 4 others Thank this. -
