I can't believe I'm asking this but I cannot find the controls to operate the tilt steering wheel on this thing.I was told it could have an air operated switch on the side of the floor or a foot pedal ,it has neither.I thought maybe it just did not have one but the steering wheel is at an uncomfortable position and blocks the view of the gauges.I am beginning to think something is missing or has been modified.

My company truck was a air pedal at the base of the Steering column.
My Volvo and KW are on the columns left side. Have seen some that was a push button on the left side of column.
can you upload a photo of the column and floor? -
If it's a FLD/Classic cab it's a lever just below your turn signal switch. If it's a Century/Columbia cab it's an air operated switch on the floor panel to the left of the clutch pedal. If it's not in one of those two places, you don't have the tilt/telescope option.

I must not have one, just doesn't feel right. The bottom of the steering column is carpeted from the dash to the floor, and there are no other pedals or levers.

Check directly below the steering column on the knee panel, looks like a cars brake release..
