Time DC , orientation helped ya adapt to your new surroundings without the stress or information overload.
The owner and ops mngr , are pleasant and real down to earth. Dispatch so far seems pretty strictly business and very efficient.
The shop has a get it done now approach thus far. And coming from Poly trucking , this is a Godsend & very welcomed.
I do know eventually I will have to wait to get something done , so far i have not.
The fleet is high governed ... over 75 and closer to 80 than 75.
Get 2 speeders in a yr and it won't be good. The unit i drive 387 EXHD Pete , with the large car ride. It's a smooth operating well maintained chromed out company truck made to spoil even a 30 yr driver.
Now i have not gotten paid yet , and needed some home time starting out a couple days 1st weekend, and the 2nd weekend i arrived home Sun night to head back out this Thursday.
So , i'll have to update this thread into like my 3rd or 4th pay period.
Gentlemen , if you have the experience and been around this business long enough to want the finer things it has to offer , i highly suggest at least calling Time !
Josh will fill ya in, and help ya to make an educated decision.
In the short period i been here , i've met several of our drivers , both IC's and Co.
I haven't stumbled onto a driver yet here that seems to be disgruntled or unhappy.
And it seems to be the general consensus that each have made a darn good decision and are grateful for a good employer .

I talked to them earlier and would seriously consider them if I was going to go back to tanking. The guy I talked to said they wanted to wait till Feb, that was the about when they were going to open a terminal in Joliet. I'm an O/O, so pay was different.

Time D C My timing likely couldv'e been better , slow period now . After 6 weeks avg at about a grand a week , last 2 not so.
Last settlement like 631.00 next won't be any better.
    Ok ...
Taking a deep breath hoping by mid Jan things much improve.
Love the equipment , guys in the shop present a real trooper approach to getting ya going.
It's easier said than done though at times.
However , they do try hard to get ya moving. Serious too , they do !
The overall atmosphere is generally friendly.
I like it here and pray things pu !

I hired in about a month before their slow period .
I'm praying they pu in Jan.
1st 4 weeks was ok , not so the last 2 weeks and now the holidays are nearly upon us.
Will be dipping into savings likely the remainder of Dec !
I can accept that , hope i'm not dipping through Jan. though and into Mar.
Overall , I feel the owner is a great guy and it seems everyone else feels the same.
Haven't stumbled onto too many chips on driver's shoulders.
General consensus is everyone's pretty happy so i'm gonna try to work through the slow time and hope it picks up.
