i got when I want to go, not when some stupid computer says i can. If i want to change my view at the truck stop while on a 34...im gonna do it...period lol. I would end up throwing the #### thing out the window...or it might just get "stolen" lol

I like when i start my day and 5 miles down the road you break down...i can throw the page out and start over when im fixed...with e-logs your screwed.

I can do the same bro, just log out of the system or unplug it and move the truck. or if the place is less than a mile away you could drive to it and it keeps you off duty. Its not like your handcuffed or anything. I do understand what you mean though, id much rather be on paper

You don't have to give up boats, booze, and broads if you go back to lonestar. They will be waiting for you when you get back. You could loan out your boat to your relatives, lol

Get used to the plastic pete's....Everywhere is making the switch, we just traded off quite a few 379's for 386's because the bossman said were going to get better MPG out of the 485hp paccar's than the kitty cat's we have currently.

It might be in the shop a while but the mpg's might go up around the 70-100k mile mark with the paccar engine

I was ready to reply to this and say you shouldn't let something as rare as this type of event keep you from taking a good job.

Then yesterday drive 3 miles to my pickup which was just far enough to kick my elog on drive for a preloaded trailer that was supposed to be ready at 8am. Well it wasn't even in the door yet...so switched to a live load. Didn't leave till 1400...so 6 hrs wasted...then 2 hrs down the road....blowout a trailer tire. Needless to say yesterday was a waste.

    You jinxed me

Yeah, sucks. Seems the only way around that (aside from the tire) is to camp out at the shipper, and that sucks too.

Were you bobtail? Could have done that Off Duty Driving if your E log has it. Would have looked perfectly normal on a 34.
