I usually don't have any issue. I used to do warehouse work so I am used to (and miss) the physical activity. Years later, I still need to occasionally walk around because my thighs and knees will start to feel sore if I don't get any exercise.
Can walk a few laps around a truck stop parking lot or just 'take a long route' between your truck and building.
I often walk a lap or a few around the perimeter of a rest area and some rest areas have actual trails, many in Nebraska, Florida, and some scattered in other states as well. The rest area on i80 in Wyoming right at the Nebraska border has a few miles of trails behind it that take you up on top of the plateau to offer beautiful panoramic views of Wyoming, you can see for miles.
Most walmarts on i80 in Nebraska have truck parking as do a few in other states. Great place to walk around for a half hour or longer buying stuff to restock your truck.
If you take i80 through Utah, the salt flats have a rest area. If you're heading west and up for a hike walk out into the salt flats. Go out about a mile and you will hardly see the highway and there is nothing but silence.

After a couple of months, I'm like, "dang honey, look at this!" as I strained to tense up my stomach and find just the right angle and shadowing in the mirror to show off faint outline of obliques underneath my slight belly fat.

I'll probably be doing I.F. out of necessity due to having a colectomy. Been reading up on ways to help slow down my digestive/waste process. Drinking only 4oz of liquid when I eat, and having my biggest meal about an hour before I take my 10hr break. That way I'm only worried during that time and I "should" be parked somewhere I will have access to restroom facilities. That said it should also help to get rid of my belly fat. The rest of me is fine, fat wise. But I'll for sure need some weights to also tone up again.

This is probably the biggest reason why I didn't opt for a career driving OTR. No gym time. No weights. No iron. You would have to kiss your physique good bye!

You still have a 10 hour break that allows an hour or so of exercise and unless you are strict about leaving as soon as your 10 is up, you'll have more then 10 hours off every day. Besides that, running recaps gives you more time. You could easily just do 8-9 hours of work daily (eliminating the need to ever take a 34) with 15-16 hours down.
You can put hand weights/whatever in the truck or look for gyms near truck stops no matter who you work for.Wasted Thyme and HoneyBadger67 Thank this. -
