Simply put, dead people, all their pets, and phantoms that only exist on the mail-in ballot....

The plan is for someday all vehicles being able to talk to each other and if that happens, it will probably be that way for all vehicles, not just trucks.

In so much as I agree, and commend you, for trying to get a rallying point for O/O's, small carriers, and even future O/O's, I believe it's a moot effort. Why?, well there's a big push right now, and particularly before the 2022 mid-term election, to have the G take over and control the health care, energy, transportation, and agricultural sectors. Their mantra is it's being done for the "good of all."

Independent truckers and small carriers are just a minor roadblock to accomplish this socialist utopia....

You will be paying 2 million or possibly more in insurance and more for higher tolls, more added tolls, and higher fuel prices. All for the privilege to only go 55 mph while being forced to wear a Cpap? Sounds like a plan.

Unfortunately your probably right. Most drivers just don’t care and a small percentage even know what’s going on in the industry. Sad but true

Wait until the insurance companies say they won’t or can’t insure commercial vehicles. Then hyper inflation and long lines of trucks. Yeah if we don’t fight we’re ####ed

    bzinger Thanks this.

No he is right, not probably.

most drivers don’t give a crap, they are working at a job not a career or vocation. No professionalism at all.

what puzzles me is why people are hung up on speed limiters when the other stuff in this and the green new deal crap will impact everyone with such a harsh slam that many won’t know what hit them.

What I’ve been reading about what this congress is trying to accomplish with this green crap under the guise of climate change is going to take trucks off the road. They have to do this in order to meet their carbon emissions quota ... 50% cut of 2005 polluting gases by 2030.

That trusty old speed limiter. This way when you have a blowout and need to mash the pedal it won't do anything and your chances of crashing are greater.

The Democrat/Socialist party doesn't care about independent owner operators, nor independence in general.
