I know a lot of guys that work like that. I used to myself when I was younger. I work a lot less now that I'm an old guy.

 

What’s your point ?

 

the goal is to have the total package with less work. that grasshopper will come years after you pay your dues.

 

I own 2 trucks leased to a big outfit in the PNW. I manage 50 company drivers here in Las Vegas plus have to worry about 100 or more leased on driver using our trailers and equipment 24/7 365. I’ve watched my parents run and operate the largest heavy/dirt haul company in Hawaii for the past 34 years. It’s a lifestyle brotha.

When you find something you love doing everyday. You’ll never work another day in your life

 

The gross seems low for that many days. I can do that in two weeks and only work 4/5 days a week.

 

If you are leased to a company, you are not an employee and you can take time off anytime you want.

There is a word involved with contracting - independent.

If they set the schedule and you have to run by their rules, you're merely an employee supplying your own tools.

 

I'd pass on any company suggesting that much work. There's more to life than making a living
