Sorry, I'm sure this has been covered somewhere, but I haven't seen it after searching for a few weeks off and on.

Could someone please explain the 10/14 hour deal. I'm starting a driver training program in a few weeks, but am just curious. So, can you drive only 10, be on duty for 14 total, then have to take your 10 hour break? The 70 hour limit, is that for driving only? Where does the 36 hour break come in specifically?

    I appreciate any clarification, thanks.

I am not sure if you have noticed the stickied information at the very top of the regulations forumn. You just open the documents on most of them. If you do not have know how let me know or any mod and we will be glad to help. YOu will need to have word document & power point on your computer.

But it's all stickied right towards the top and should be labled as such. If you don't know how to work power point, all you do is open the document by clicking on the link, then on the tool bar of the power point find "view" then click on view slideshow, then just keep clicking your mouse and let it go through step by step. I hope this helps. Please ask any questions you may have.
