My 07 big bubba 48' is just over 9000# with 3 boxes full of stuff. With my 2000 Isx international I can haul 50500# easily with full tanks.

Have you looked at western trailers? That pretty much all I see in and around Idaho and the north west.

If you want durability go with a Mac! They are proven strong trailers. The reitnouers always seemed weak to me and I've seen beams go on 4 axles hauling coils.
May I suggest looking at some ads in Canada? The Canadian dollar is weak as hell to the American dollar right now. You can get a really good deal I'm sure on a used flat. This dealer has a couple used ones in Ontario if interested: http://www.transporttrailersales.com/products.cfm or check out the ebay of Canada Kijiji: http://www.kijiji.ca/ Just make sure you change each province as it doesn't search all of the ads in the country at one time.

My brother has Several Reitnouers and a few Great Danes, I have a Mac and a Fontain Revolutin 52. Haven't really had any problems with any of them Even though the Fontain is a PIA for over width. If I had to choose only one it would be my 53' Mac. Light and strong.
The only time I've ever had problems with brakes locking up and trailers trying to out run the truck is when the ABS wasn't working correctly. Especially if you have the ones with sensors on both axles.

Almost anyone can get financed for one. It's just a matter of what you pay in intrest. I got much better rates going through my bank. Less than half of what the equipment lenders wanted.
