Yeah, cuz God knows cops always jump right up and correct their own - because you know - they do.
Oh, wait? "blue wall"? Whats that?

In fact, if memory serves correctly @Scalemaster was one of the best sources of info on the forum back in the day, before he finally got tired of the BS. Good to see you back around!brian991219, Banker, classic_150 and 3 others Thank this. -
Problem is, Ive seen it first hand. Was on my way home from work at 3am thanksgiving day 2006. Cops were pulling people over left and right (obvious DUI sting). Speed limit was 50, I set my cruise at 50. Cop pulls me over saying I was doing 61. After the cop pulled me over a sheriff deputy pulled over a few hundred feet in front of me. The DUI sting was in Rosemount, the cop was West St Paul, the sheriff was Dakota co, and we were in Apple Valley. Cop gives me the ticket, I ask to see his ID. He says "West St Paul cops arent issued ID cards" (which is BS). His name/badge number wasnt on the ticket. The sheriff pulled out and did a u turn and headed back towards Rosemount so I walked over and flagged him down. I asked him to get me the ID of the cop while we are standing on the side of the road and a car was coming, so I took a step toward the sheriffs car to get out of the way, and the #### sheriff pushes me out in front of the car. Deputy wouldnt give me his name either and I didnt see a number on the car (it was an unmarked).
When I got home, I called the sheriffs office and filed a complaint. The Sgt that answered gave me the name of the deputy and took my statement. Sent me a letter a few days later saying basically I was full of crap. Went to court on the ticket. Told the judge about all this. He pulled in the dashcams from the 2 cops cars.
Net result: 1 West St Paul cop fired. 1 sheriffs deputy fired. I sheriffs supervisor demoted.
But not because a cop did anything about it. Oh, and I beat the ticket.Nostalgic, TheLoadOut, Sons Hero and 3 others Thank this. -
The whole "You have nothing to fear if you did nothing wrong." is B.S., and now that cell phones can prove it there is so much evidence that the only people that think it's a few bad apples are so far up the police unions backside as to be irreverent. I mean after all the Brady list came out in the 1960's.TheLoadOut and Bean Jr. Thank this. -
seems finding a federal lawyer is the problem.runningman0661 Thanks this. -
