I'm doing good with Pinnergy in big lake. Good thing having hazmat, since I've been hauling alot of oil based mud to rig locations. Been averaging 60 hrs a week, working nights. Day shift seems a bit slower because they have more drivers on daytime
Time to hang up the boots? Or next steps?

Where do you need a Hazmat to haul drilling mud?
-

You need a hazmat to haul oil based mud because it's got diesel or kerosene or even crude mixed in with it along with emulsifiers. They use it in gumbo shale where the formation swells due to water based mud or in deep high temp wells that dry out conventional mud.

	Do they placard the tanker?

Yes they do. We hated moving rigs that used oil based mud because every piece had to be washed before transport talk about slowing a job down.

Sand is hitting pretty well. I'm making more now than I did hauling water.

Where are you hauling sand out of? I actually am considering sand hauling. We are getting slow now, and new drivers are coming in. Not enough work for everyone. Someone is constantly getting cut short . Last week, I was sent home 2 days, worked 2 regular shifts, and 1 half shift. Made about 30 hours. This week, I only worked 1 shift so far
