Starting driving school soon, and I'm trying to get a jump on knowing the material. I'm having issues figuring out how to do time sheets. The regulations make no sense to me. I understand the logic behind it, and I'm a pretty smart guy, but there are so many formulas to remember.

Is there an easy way to figure this out? Maybe some kind of spreadsheet or program that makes sense of it?

How did you figure this out? Help a newbie, please...

you'll learn them in school, I tried to understand them ahead of time like you, but was confused. :biggrin_2554: After the instructors actually showed us and we logged our class timefor practice, it really isn't that difficult:biggrin_25515:

you can GOOGLE driversdailylog and download the free 60 day trial of their logbook program, then play with it.

It will be the full version, and it is designed to comply with every law in both USA and Canada (works for Mexico too :biggrin_25523: )

    Happy trucking and many miles!

    dislinwhixie and Lurchgs Thank this.

Major thanks! Exactly what I was looking for. I was half heartedly working on an Excel spreadsheet, but without knowing the system and laws, I was shooting in the dark.

    Thanks again!
