been talkin with a recruiter and was told i would do a road test and do 8 weeks with a trainer[just got cdl] and was wondering what that would entail.also when you do a road test are they lookin at your current skills after you just got a cdl lic.

if you got your cdl you can pass the road test. You will do fine more than likely. Eight weeks w/trainer is four weeks of you driving while trainer watches. Basically your logs will be the same except for lines three and four will be mirror images. Second month is super solo. The truck can run 19 hours a day and driving split however you guys feel best. If you're a non smoker send me a PM and I will tell you my trainer. I promised to never divulge his name on the interwebs
