Cheapest walmart washer fluid, whatever the season..., add detergent, I use plain dish soap, and clear ammonia, under $3 a bottle in the cleaning isle at Wallyword. Extra ammonia in summer, cuts bugs like crazy.
DONT use ammonia on your plastic lens headlights, ammonia clouds lexan.

My first job was a dishwasher/delivery boy at a Chinese restaurant. They put ammonia in the dishwater.
    Sure cleared the sinuses.

I started putting it in my washer fluid, but for a different reason.
(Actually, it was my mom's car.)

I put it in there just in case the people I was driving around got too rowdy.
We all know the high school teenager type.

When they started getting too loud I would turn on the wipers.
If they didn't quiet down real quick I would use the fluid and turn the fan on high.
That would shut them up real quick when their eyes and throat started burning from the fumes.
They learned to shut the f up real quick if I ever turned the wipers on.

That was the plus side of using ammonia in the washer fluid.
The negative side it that it also sprays on painted surfaces.
    And ammonia degrades paint.
It cuts through the wax and the paint starts to crack and peel.

I do this too, but I always ask the owner of truck first. Some say a long as there is lots of fluid in the reservoir Other say no, it will eat the lines. Their truck, their call.
