The chaplains. The chaplains do very well, but I don't consider that tipping.

Waitstaff and valet parkers get a tip. Everybody else, gets the same tip I get when I make a delivery.

I'm a truck driver. If I ever come back you didn't remember me the first time.

When I deliver a $275,000 mri to a hospital. Or a $75,000 server to a data center. I dont get a tip. Im sure the tech at either place. Thinks I'm a under paid, dead end job worker. But they dontold care if I spent 5 hours padding, strapping. So machine arrives damage free. Or spent 11 hours driving for 3 days in a row. To get it there, or that I'm gone away from my family for weeks at a time. Boohoo they say trucking was my choice. I should have went to comp school, or took medical device training. So they dont tip me.

Tips are probably gathered and split equally.

    That's just not true.
Waiter , barback and bartender I couldn't care less if I got a top or not. If you didn't tip , well guess what the next time you came in your going to get the same exemplary service as you received last time. Why? Because that's what I was hired to do for the hourly wage I accepted when I got hired.
And in the mid 90's I decided to try and stay off the road a get a local job. I wound up driving a cab for nearly a year. I always tried to decline tips.
Many folks would say just give me 5 back but I would always give all of it back. Funny thing is how many would toss it on the seat just before they close the door and walk of really fast , almost run Lol.
Or some women toting her three kids with her in cab to the store obviously bearly making it and still tring to scrounge through her purse for a tip.
And when I say no it's okay it's not nessesary you see a look of disbelief on their face and they still throw it on the seat most of the time before they shut the door.
It's really sad how people let themselves get beat down by society over tipping.
Here's another thing I always found funny about tipping , how many people really think it actually makes them better than someone who either doesn't tip or even just tips less.
