Tips and helpful information for new truck drivers.

Close to the border it's the ethnic drivers screaming into the speaker as they walk around. Too bad they don't have a nice Bluetooth headset

 

Well you got me there I can't make a legitimate argument agaisn't your statement ...lol

 

I wear steel toe slip on boots, jeans, belt, t-shirt, and ball cap.

And a headset.

I'm going into a random truck stop filled with people I'll never see again. Dafuq do I care what they think about it. Plus, have you seen the people that frequent truck stops? They've got bigger issues than my headset.

 

I use the Bluetooth speaker phone that’s part of the stereo system. Why wear a headset?

 

I have to wear a headset, it helps keep the go pro from slipping.

 

My truck is old and loud. I don't have much choice. Radio barely works, and it isn't BT capable anyway. And a new radio is worth more than the truck. So headset it is.

 

I’m an AirPod kinda person. Only because……..

 

I can't hear the truck Bluetooth while eating my fried eggs and hashbrowns in the restaurant booth.

 

This is years & years ago.... when I started driving I didn't.. (still don't ) dress the part of of a cow hauler.. it was blue jean shorts and the famous ( wife beater tee shirts ) & tennie shoes.. ( I did wear cowboy boots when I was loading or unloading ) in the summer.... my hair was down to my shoulders .. I did it for 3 reasons..
1....... so every place I loaded or unloaded they would remember me
2... I could go in the truck stops and not blend in
3.....because I felt comfortable when I was in the seat driving...
I have never given a rat's butt .. what other's think

 

I have a pair of flip flops at home I put on to go outside and smoke a cigarette, if I'm lazing around the house. But otherwise I only wear my work boots from the time I get up, to the time I go to bed. They're the only thing that's comfortable anymore.
