    :biggrin_25520: but i did back in quite nicely when , i felt this nice soft cushion back there, seems a one those from across the border decide too take a nap under the dock, made a nice dock stop and saved my dot bumper too :biggrin_2556: now far as hiding keys , i just tyed it on the oil cap and then again the washer bottle under hood, theives never look at the more simple places, course i had nuthen in there worth breaking in too :biggrin_25524: Everett.

    I may be wrong but I do believe that the unions were around before Obama even became a gleem in his parent's eyes.

    One good thing about driving a Volvo is you never lock yourself out of the truck. You need the key in hand to lock the door from the outside. I am surprised the other OEM's havent figured that out yet.

    :biggrin_2556:Iheard this on the kw whoppers the kw 600 i think, but if you reach up under the side box, someboby told me this you can unlock any k-whopper side door and gain enter thru side box on cab,, dont know how true it is :biggrin_25524:

    :biggrin_25523: Just throw away all the dang gum keys and go like a credit card, there be a speacial box inside the cab doors , then you swipe the card agaisnt your speacial spot on door and voila your in , just like they do at motels :biggrin_25514: course you got love the dum dums who think there key is 4 foot cheeter bar when there doors locks are frozen shut and put vise grip on the key duh dum dum its brass, course it gonna break off, now your locked out , broken lock and your freezing your ta tas off in the blowing snow ya i seen a few those i had too rescue a few em,give me a 10 inch straight vise grip and if the freightliner vent window doesnt have locks, that little silver button, i can place my vice grips on the black part on the outside and twist en shout , hey dum dum your in at about 5 mins tops, course i coulda let freeze outside all night , but thats not me , i help him out , we all get locked out from time too time, i'll never own a truck with eletric locks and being company i ask shop to disable em cause i almost got locked by just letting the door close by it self, good thing i had the keys:biggrin_25510:

    I liked the carbon monoxide detector idea.
    Very smart, light to carry, and small to pack.

    This might be one of the best ideas I heard in a long time.

    Exhaust leaks can and DO occur without you being able to detect them.

    We kept a carbon monoxide detector in the truck. You can get them at Walmart for around $30. Its the same as a smoke detector except for carbon monoxide. We weren't smokers so I don't know how it would work with cigarettes.
