Buddy hauls fuel or something similar on the slope. Decent pay and he works shifts. Also check out dump truck jobs another buddy does that as well

Nothing wrong with this. I got my CDL 8 years ago and I chose a local septic company over OTR. Home every night and 50 hours a week. Got lots of exercise, did it for 1 year, then started hauling fuel. We all have different needs and approaches. I chose a crappy (no pun intended) job to date a girl I had just met and to drink beer at home on the weekends. Sometimes other nights too. Why she dated a septic driver and eventually married me? No idea
