Makes sure it's the lightweight trygg chain "Trygg 2000" I think it's called. Strong as hell!

Northern Metalic 6612 40 St SE, Calgary, AB
The smaller lightweight Trygg 2000 are a good winter chain if you're not running a deep wide spaced lug tire. The chains will disappear into/in between the lugs if you do any spinning... and good luck pulling them off after that.
I say winter chain because they suck in the mud... and the hooks and boomers are too small to handle with muddy gloves in thick gooey mud. I like the bigger size chain.
Trygg chains are the best chains available and you're wasting money on anything else. -
Northern metallic must have shut up shop at that address lol nothing there when I went this morning but thanks for the suggestion! Ended up finding some at fort Garry. 450 bucks for a set. There not tryggs but i Just needed them to be compliant with bc chain laws. There for a tandem axle straight truck. Tryggs will be going on the new tractor when I pick it up from camex.

I find I have the same problem when I wear the smaller, lightweight shorts! -
I wonder how much you could get a set for at the wreckers. If it's primarily to be compliant, $450 is pretty tall dollar. The amount of trucks and trailers they bring in every year, with chains hanging on them, they must have mountains of them.

Gregg Distributors would be a good option n prolly yer best price
